Good mood, sun and… marathon!

Also this year the early summer temperatures at the sunniest city in Germany again attracted numerous participants and fans to the 8^th Freiburg marathon on the 3^rd of April: About 11.300 athletes, 80.000 spectators and 42 “Run&Rock”-bands enjoyed the nice weather. Nils Schallner and Judith Iseler won the marathon distance with finishing times of 2:28:23h and 3:06:16h. The winners of the half marathon, Philipp Willaschek and Christine Schleifer, succeeded with times of 1:12:17h and 1:18:16h.

But not only the weather was just fantastic: The excited spectators again knew how to cheer on the sporters. They nearly carried the ambitioned runners over the whole distance. Moreover they got supported by 42 different bends just in accordance with the overall motto “Run&Rock”. Especially in the start and finish areas a great almost fair-like atmosphere prevailed.

Additionally the marathon tradeshow attracted thousands of visitors with many interesting innovations. The JogStyle sportingly presented itself at the event in Freiburg. Several spontaneous shoppers just bought the new product right away from the Omron stand. The following positive feedback was especially delightful for us.

Next year we will definitely show up at the Freiburg marathon again to enjoy the warm temperatures and the amazing atmosphere.
